Nas, Murder Inc., Ja Rule & DMX
Irv Gotti said last week from London. "We're gonna drop Nas and Ja's albums together, and we're gonna do a cross-promotion like you've never seen before. When you see an album come out and you see commercials, it's [usually] a 30-second spot. I'm gonna combine their budgets, and you're gonna see a 60-second spot." God's Son is scheduled to hit stores on November 19 (Nas' Album)

On the remix to the Inc.'s "The Pledge," which has turned up on New York radio, Nas basically kills the speculation about whether he's signing to Murder Inc. and tells the world, "It's Murder!"In the beginning, it was me, Nas, I stood alone," his voice echoes at the beginning of the song with Ja Rule yelling, "It's Murder!" in the background. "But now ... Murder Inc. y'all. It's Murder. It's over now, you know that, right?"

Ja Rule then comes in to add his vocals to the song's second verse,. Ja then paints a scenario of riding with Tupac if the late, great veteran were alive. Although he doesn't mention any names, Ja goes on to verbally assail an unnamed victim that some have inferred to be DMX: "Bitch dog/ Get, at me dog / Rule n---a the boss/ You always been a pup/ Now ain't it a pity/ That you running to I.G./ Dying to be me"

DMX replies:
"I got some sh--, man," X said Friday from a Chicago studio about what he plans to put on his upcoming album. "They trying to stop me from doing this song called 'Ruled Out.' Everybody in here don't want me to do it — they whining — but I'm gonna do it."

2LW?
3LW's Naturi Naughton, with her lawyer in tow, told New York City radio jock Wendy Williams that she has been forced out of the group.

Naughton said she had received repeated complaints about her performance, her image and her loyalty to the group from 3LW's management, which, coincidentally, is run by Kiely's legal guardian, Michelle Williams — no relation to the Destiny's Child member.

Naturi, 18, said that the dealbreaker (or triobreaker, as it were) came when Kiely threw a plate of food into her face after a particularly heated argument in South Carolina, prompting her to immediately fly back to her hometown in New Jersey.

At presstime, there is no official response from the remaining two-thirds of 3LW. Naughton claimed that an understudy has already been training to replace her.
